Orders are placed in the online store at https://finnishoperations.competencex.fi/.
Placing an order requires:
An order is created when the customer has paid for the order and the store has sent an order confirmation by email. The order confirmation shows the ordered products, prices and delivery costs.
We reserve the right to refuse an order, for example if there is a clear price error or if the product is not available.
All prices include value added tax (VAT) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs.
In the online store, you can pay securely with any major debit and credit cards, digital wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, or bank transfers where applicable. Payment service is provided by Stripe LLC.
Delivery methods and prices are displayed when ordering before payment.
Digital products, such as online courses, are generally delivered automatically immediately after the order and payment are successful. Delivery takes place in the form of a confirmation message sent by email and/or access opened through the customer account. If there is a delay in delivery, for example due to system or payment traffic problems, we aim to ensure delivery within 1–3 business days of receiving the order at the latest.
The consumer customer has the right to cancel an order made through distance selling in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. Normally, the right of cancellation is 14 days from receipt of the product, unless otherwise provided by law or the nature of the product.
In this online store, the length of the return and exchange policy for online courses is 30 days from receipt of the order, unless otherwise stated in the course-specific product information or applicable legislation. Please note that the possibility of return and exchange may be limited, for example, to situations where the course has not been used substantially (e.g. without watching a large part of the content) or where the delivery of digital content has been initiated with the customer’s express consent.
Returns cannot be made without a receipt or other proof of purchase.
There is generally no right of return:
Only a partial refund can be granted if:
Once a refund request for an online course or other digital service has been received and processed, a notification will be sent to the customer via email informing them of the receipt of the refund request and whether the refund has been approved or rejected.
For an approved return:
If the refund doesn’t appear:
If you still don’t see the refund after these steps, please contact us.
As a general rule, only regular priced products will be refunded.
Products on sale may not be eligible for a refund unless specifically stated on the product page or in the return policy. Always check the product-specific information.
Digital services (such as online courses) can generally only be exchanged if the service is faulty or cannot be used due to a technical or other vendor-related reason. If the service is to be exchanged for a similar digital service, the customer must first contact customer service and agree on the exchange in advance.
If the product was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to the recipient, the recipient may receive a gift credit for the value of the returned product. Once the return is received, a gift card will be sent by mail or email.
If the product is not marked as a gift, or if the customer has ordered the product with their own address and later gave it as a gift, the refund will be paid directly to the original customer.
The return and refund process for digital products, such as online courses, is handled electronically.
A request for a return or refund can be made by contacting customer service.
The customer is not responsible for separate return shipping costs, as online courses and other digital services are delivered electronically. If a refund is granted, it will be paid to the original payment method as agreed, and separate shipping costs will not be deducted unless the order is accompanied by separately charged service fees that have been notified in advance.
If a digital product (for example, an online course) is defective, does not work as intended, or the wrong service has been delivered in the order, this must be reported immediately, but within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered.
Please attach to the message:
The repair, exchange or refund procedure is agreed on a case-by-case basis with customer service.
The store is not liable for indirect damages, financial losses or other consequential damages, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legislation. In any case, our liability is limited to the total amount of the order.
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
We reserve the right to change these ordering and delivery terms and conditions. The order is subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time of ordering, which are presented in the online store.
